Betul Oil was incorporated in the year 1981 and present promoters took over the business in 1995.
We are engaged in the business of solvent extraction, refining of edible oils, oil seed development, and manufacture of animal feeds and trading of de-oiled cakes. We believe that we are one of India’s leading integrated processor of soybean and sunflower seeds with an edible oil refining capacity of 370 TPD. . We set up our first solvent extraction unit at Betul, Madhya Pradesh in 1981 with a total crushing capacity of 100 TPD. and over the last three decades, we have set up two additional units at Satna, Madhya Pradesh and MIDC, Solapur with a total solvent extraction capacity of 1,250 TPD and grading capacity is 86,400 TPA (288 TPD). The company’s major manufacturing unit is situated at Betul, M.P. about 200 km from Bhopal. The plant is situated in the midst of soya bean mandies of Betul, Itarsi, Harda, Chindwarah in M.P. and Amravati in Maharashtra.
We also operate two wind energy power generation units with an installed capacity of 1.25 MW each at Dhule, Maharashtra and Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. We supply electricity to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited from the Dhule unit and we utilize the power generated at the Dewas unit for captive consumption.
We have a pan-India presence and market our products across seventeen states in India. Our edible oil distribution network comprises of seventeen dealers and two depots through whom we access more than 5,000 retailers across India. We market edible oil primarily under our brands “Saras” and “Siddha Gold”. We believe we are one of the largest suppliers of soybean meal to the domestic animal feed industry catering to more than 850 poultry farms directly. Our cattle feed distribution network comprises of sixty one distributors across Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Our company is at present registered as GST dealer in 9 States of India Viz. MP, Maharashtra, Gujrat, AP, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Rajasthan & West Bengal.
Our Company has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification by the M/s. Bureau Veritas Certification (India) Private Limited in respect of manufacture and sale of vegetable oils and de-oiled cakes. BM Trada has certified that the quality management systems of our Company meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Our Company has also been awarded the “Prominent Achievers of the Millennium” by the Indian Economic Development and Research Association. The Soyabean Processors Association of India has presented our Company the “Highest Capacity Utilisation Award” consecutively for the years 2002 to 2005.
Our Promoter and then Director, Mr. Niraj Daga, has been awarded the “Indian Achievers Award for Industrial Excellence” by the Indian Economic Development and Research Association in 2010. Our Company had also been nominated among the top three companies in the “FMCG, Food and Agri-Business” category at the CNBC TV-18’s “Emerging India Awards 2007” given by hon’ble Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The company has also been awarded as the “Recruiter of the Year 2013-14” & “Recruiter of the Year 2017-18” in Large Category by the Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FMPCCI), and in both the occasions the award was given by the then Chief Ministers of MP to the delegates of the company.
The Company has feet of Trucks for transportation of their finished products as well as for bringing the raw materials to its factories.
The Company is having its own Warehouse named as “Betul Oil Warehouse” in Betul District, having capacity of around 9000 MTs, where agricultural seed is being stored by farmers and others.
